Our client, a leading organisation in the building control sector, is currently seeking Registered Building Inspectors (RBIs) to join their team across the whole of the UK, but particularly the North East.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards
* Assessing construction works and identifying any areas that require attention or improvement
* Providing expert advice on building control matters to clients and stakeholders
* Preparing detailed reports and documentation following site visits
* Ensuring that all inspections are carried out in a timely and professional manner
* Liaising with contractors, developers, and other professionals to ensure compliance
* Keeping up-to-date with current regulations and standards in the building industry
* Participating in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance industry knowledge
Job Requirements:
* Experience in building control or a related field
* Strong understanding of building regulations and standards
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in preparing detailed reports and documentation
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Relevant qualification in building control or a related discipline
