Warehouse Operative – Tamworth People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Tamworth during their busy peak period. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, weekly pay, and genuine opportunities for long term work. Shifts: Working days/nights between Monday to Sunday Weekdays: 12:30PM – 10:30PM Weekends: 12:00PM – 21:30PM Shifts in peak from 18th December to 24th December will be: AM – 6AM TO 4PM PM – 4.30PM - 2.30AM Pay rates: £13.29 per hour until 11pm £17.27 per hour after 11pm Benefits: Your benefits as a Warehouse Operative will be: Weekly pay Excellent hourly rates Overtime available Site canteen and break room Site parking Day-to-Day Duties: Your duties as a warehouse operative will be: Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently, including gift vouchers, card, balloons, personalised mugs Carrying out regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records Preparing, labelling, and packaging items for dispatch Moving and organising stock safely within the warehouse Following health and safety procedures at all times Using handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment as required Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Meeting daily performance and KPI targets You must be comfortable handling packaged alcohol Essential Skills: The skills needed to be a Warehouse Operative are: Basic level of English (spoken and written) Reliable with good timekeeping Strong communication skills Ability to work well as part of a team Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude You must pass a basic English and numeracy test You must be able to prove your right to work in the UK Desirable Experience: Previous warehouse or packing experience Experience using handheld scanners or similar warehouse technology Training: Full training provided with ongoing support and development Contact: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a Warehouse Operative, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
