This is a full-time, permanent position within a successful and ambitious Social Sciences Faculty that consistently delivers strong academic outcomes at GCSE and A Level. • Economics Teacher – full-time, permanent • High-performing 11–18 academy in Leicester • Teaching at KS4–KS5 • Excellent CPD and leadership progression opportunities • ASAP start The Role The appointed Economics Teacher will primarily teach at KS5, with the potential to contribute to GCSE Business or related subjects at KS4. The department follows a carefully sequenced, knowledge-rich curriculum designed to develop analytical thinking, quantitative reasoning and a deep understanding of microeconomic and macroeconomic principles. Students are highly motivated and many progress to competitive university courses in Economics, Finance, Politics and related disciplines. You will deliver engaging, discussion-led lessons that connect economic theory to current global events, policy decisions and real-world case studies. There is also scope to support enrichment activities such as economics societies, debating clubs, enterprise initiatives and university preparation programmes.
