The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with learning and develop both academically and socially. This role requires someone who is patient, adaptable, and willing to get stuck in to support the needs of the students and the wider school community.
Ideal Candidate
The school is ideally looking for someone with previous experience working within a school setting. However, they are also keen to hear from candidates with transferable experience in areas such as:
* Early Years
* Children’s mental health
* Social care
* Youth work
* Other roles supporting children or young people
The successful candidate will:
* Be available 4–5 days per week
* Have an open-minded and positive attitude
* Be patient, caring, and proactive
* Be committed to supporting children with diverse needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
