This school is looking for a practical, reliable, and proactive School Caretaker to join their team. This is a vital role that helps ensure the schools remains a safe, clean, and weing environment for students, staff, and visitors.
What you will be doing:
1. Maintain the school buildings and grounds to a high standard.
2. Carry out minor repairs, basic plumbing, and general maintenance.
3. Open and secure the premises daily, including alarm systems.
4. Monitor heating, lighting, and security systems.
5. Support with setting up rooms for school events and activities.
6. Ensure outdoor areas are tidy and safe.
7. Liaise with contractors and oversee site works.
8. Always uphold health and safety procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
9. Experience in caretaking or maintenance role (preferred but not essential).
10. Practical skills in DIY, repairs, and basic facilities management.
11. A proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
