Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant • Location: Chichester • Salary: £85 – £95 per day (depending on experience) • Start Date: Immediate • Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to join welcoming and inclusive schools in Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping pupils thrive academically and socially in a supportive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of lessons and learning activities across KS1 and KS2.
* Work with pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
* Assist with classroom organisation and preparation.
* Encourage pupil participation and engagement.
* Help maintain a focused and respectful learning environment.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor pupil progress.
* Take part in school events and enrichment activities.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with children in a primary school setting is desirable.
* CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification (desirable).
* A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is beneficial.
* Positive, patient, and adaptable approach to learning support.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to contribute to a dynamic and evolving school environment.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
