Job Description
General Atomics is seeking is seeking a detail-oriented team player to represent GA-ASI to European NATO customers, and to liaise with U.S. European Command (EUCOM) and U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) and their components. This is a full-time position for which the successful candidate must be a US Citizen, resident full-time in Europe. Proximity to our offices in London, Munich/Oberpfaffenhofen, Berlin, or Dresden is desirable. A successful candidate should be a self-starter with minimal oversight, demonstrate good analytic and organizational skills, and be an experienced strategic communicator. Frequent travel throughout Europe is anticipated.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Represent GA-ASI by creating, building, and maintaining relationships with EUCOM and AFRICOM, their component commands and other stakeholder organizations.
* Support existing foreign employees and country consultants as the GA-ASI “factory representative”.
* Assist in shaping requirements to facilitate development and procurement of GA-ASI products and services to include foreign partners.
* Synchronize DoD business development efforts to include unmanned aerial systems, payloads/sensors, and data exploitation/Common Operating Picture capabilities.
* Travel to locations in Europe upon request.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
* 15+ Years of related work experience in aerospace & defense, whether gained in government or industry or both.
* Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
* Background in MQ-9 Operations is preferred.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, and specifically be comfortable and able to convey ideas to various customers including senior leaders.
* Frequent travel within Europe is required.
* Must be a U.S. citizen and reside within Europe as role is based full-time in Europe.
