HGV Auto Electrician – Location: Derbyshire
Salary: £22.10 Per Hour + Overtime
Hours: 39 Hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Auto Electrician / PSV Electrician to join a well-established and respected Bus Operator in Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business with a modern fleet, strong engineering team and plenty of overtime available.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out electrical diagnostics, repairs and fault finding on buses and coaches
* Repairing and maintaining vehicle electrical systems
* Diagnosing CANbus, multiplex and wiring faults
* Working on lighting, CCTV, destination systems, charging systems and auxiliary equipment
* Completing inspections and ensuring vehicles are maintained to DVSA standards

Requirements
* Previous experience as an HGV Auto Electrician or PSV Electrician
* Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Experience working on heavy vehicles, buses or coaches
* NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or Auto Electrical qualification preferred
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
