Day Rate: £500.00 per day or £675.00 Umbrella Inside IR35
Overview
BAE Systems are seeking an experienced SAP Basis / Solution Manager DevOps Engineer to join an established Digital team supporting enterprise-scale SAP platforms across hybrid and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
* Supporting and maintaining live SAP systems and users
* Managing SAP Solution Manager including monitoring, ITSM, ChaRM, and landscape management
* Configuring and operating SAP Cloud ALM for hybrid and cloud-centric monitoring
* Designing and maintaining SAP BTP and hybrid connectivity solutions
* Performing SAP installations, upgrades, patches, transports, and system copies
* Driving service improvements, incident reduction, and operational automation
* Working closely with Product Teams, Architects, Engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders
* Supporting Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on SAP Basis administration experience alongside solid knowledge of:
* SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
* SAP NetWeaver
* SAP Solution Manager
* SAP Cloud ALM
* SAP BTP
* SAP Cloud Connector and SAProuter
* Hybrid integration and connectivity
* ITIL processes and ServiceNow
