Experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician – Sheffield & Surrounding Regions
Our client, a reputable and nationwide automotive fleet maintenance company, is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team in Sheffield and the surrounding region. * Up to £36,000 basic salary, commensurate with experience
* Performance‑based bonus, with on‑target earnings of £40,000 to £50,000 annually

* Guaranteed 5‑day working week, Monday to Friday, 8:00‑am to 4:00‑pm

Duties
* Perform roadside assistance and emergency repairs on customer vehicles within a specified 90‑minute radius of Sheffield
* Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models
* Specialise in DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) work and repairs on Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles
* Diagnose and efficiently repair mechanical and electrical issues
* Use hand and power tools to carry out repairs and installations
* Maintain accurate records of all work performed
* Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and safety
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
* Provide mentorship to junior technicians when required
Requirements
* Extensive “time served” experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality work
* Previous experience in mobile or roadside repair work is highly desirable
* Specific experience working on DPF systems and Jaguar or Land Rover vehicles would be advantageous
* Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
* Possess own tools suitable for the role
* Be dependable, motivated, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
* Good teamwork and communication skills with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards
