A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Gloucestershire is seeking an experienced Head of Private Client to lead its established and growing department. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor looking to step into a key leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Private Client team while maintaining a varied caseload.
* Support and supervise junior members of staff, ensuring the delivery of a consistently high standard of client care.
* Play a pivotal role in the continued growth of the department.
* Contribute to business development initiatives and help strengthen client relationships across the firm.
Scope of Work
* Handle a broad range of private client matters, including probate and estate administration, trusts, wills and estate planning, lasting powers of attorney, and inheritance tax advice and planning.
Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor with 7+ years' PQE in private client work.
* Strong technical expertise across all core private client areas.
* Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
* Excellent client relationship management and business development skills.
* Ability to manage own caseload effectively while leading and developing a team.
