Our client is a niche firm specialising in the defence of serious crime. The Role

We are seeking a passionate Personal Assistant with a hustle mentality. A switched on, fearless and organised Assistant who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and stand out from the crowd. You shall focus on supporting the Managing Director’s business interests and personal / family affairs. By running a tight ship and providing service and support you shall allow him to be more efficient which shall enable him to focus more effectively upon the business and family matters at hand.

They are fortunate to benefit from a solid team of talent comprising some of the best Solicitors and Barristers who are eminent within their profession. We are continually developing and are now seeking to expand that team further by the addition of a Personal Assistant.
The successful candidate shall provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Managing Director who is also the Principal Solicitor. This role also involves providing personal support to the Managing Director, working closely to complete ad-hoc tasks as and when required. The opportunity necessitates a person who is able and prepared to work in a challenging, demanding and extremely fast-paced environment. They must be adaptable, possess the ability to learn and be flexible in many different situations.

Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to: –

* Fact-checking and editing
* Managing Internal and external departments and stakeholders
* Organising and maintaining office systems
* Organising Managing Director’s entire business, personal and professional schedule
* Preparing Expenses
* Preparation and production of business and legal documents, forms, and statements
* Primary point of contact in the absence of Principal
* Provide guidance to junior and temporary secretaries when required to do so

The Person

The successful candidate shall have at least five years’ experience in a similar supporting role. They must have excellent computer / IT and organisational skills. They shall be required to have the requisite ability to communicate and liaise with clients and stakeholders within the Criminal Justice System in a confident manner. Furthermore, they should have a full, clean UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

* Strong and friendly personality with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
