Pay: £38.00 per hour Job Description: Overview Hampshire CC are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families in need, providing guidance and resources to help them navigate life's challenges. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored support plans. Completing fostering and SGO compliant assessments of kinship carers, both initial viability assessments and full assessments. Giving evidence in court as required on completed assessments. Foster carer supervision of temporarily approved kinship foster carers. Presenting kinship carers to fostering panel to seek approval.Experience A recognised qualification in Social Work is essential. Previous experience in a social work setting is highly desirable. Demonstrated skills in supervising and mentoring others will be advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective client interaction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
