Responsibilities
* Researching, outlining, writing, and editing new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand product requirements
* Determining the clearest and most logical way to present information and instructions for greatest reader comprehension and writing and editing technical information accordingly
* Creating high quality, easy to understand material, print or online, that fulfills audience goals, including interactive tutorials, diagrams, and video guides
* Evaluating current content and developing innovative approaches for improvement
Qualifications
* Skilled wordsmith
* Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
* Proven working experience (2+ years) in technical writing of software documentation
* Able to understand complex information and communicate the information to people with diverse professional backgrounds
* Able to see other people’s points of view and take on board feedback
* Highly self-motivated and well-organized
* Strong research skills
* Team-spirited
* Ability to work cooperatively with other teams is a must
* Understanding of SEO concepts
* Experience with version control systems (Git)
* BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
* English – advanced
Extra Awesome
* Proficiency in MadCap Flare
* Proven experience in a highly technical field, such as software development, computer science, or engineering
* Multimedia skills, such as blogging, video production, graphic design
* Experience with creating content marketing materials and managing a business social media presence
* Experience as a copywriter
* Basic knowledge of Javascript, HTML, and CSS
* French
