We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a deep understanding of cloud architecture, security, and automation. As a Cloud Engineer, you will work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments.
* Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud environments.
* Build infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
* Set up and configure compute resources, storage solutions, databases, and networking components in the cloud.
* Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
* Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
* Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
* Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
* Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline deployment and delivery workflows.
* Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and firewalls.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
* Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
* Provide support for cloud infrastructure issues, performance bottlenecks, and outages.
* Work with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis.
* Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
* Set up automated backup solutions and conduct periodic recovery testing.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for cloud architectures, procedures, and configurations.
* Share knowledge and mentor team members on cloud best practices and new technologies.
