Overview
Based in Kinross on the bank of Loch Leven, Todd & Duncan is the only Scottish spinner offering cashmere yarn to fashion houses and quality manufacturers worldwide. Due to the continued development of the business, we require an experienced IT Manager to join the team.
We are interested in hearing from highly motivated candidates for the position of IT Manager who have a wide range of experience working within IT. This position will play a pivotal role designing, deploying and maintaining the company’s IT technology and operations.
Key Responsibilities
·Oversee the IT department and manage all technology operations.
·Develop and implement IT policies and systems to support the company's strategies.
·Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
·Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department including ERP – Movex systems.
·Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
·Manage 3rd party suppliers ensuring they deliver the expected IT services and appraising their performance.
·Prepare and present Cyber/Risk/IT Management reports to Business leaders.
·Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
·Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans
·Collaborate with departments and teams to achieve IT goals and improvements.
·Ensure compliance with [regulations, standards, or company policies].
Qualifications
·Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
·Excellent knowledge of technical management, cyber security, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
·Sound understanding of Microsoft Active Directory as well as DHCP, DNS, and Group Policies
·Windows Server (2003 and up) & Desktop W10/11
·Knowledge of AS400 Server
·Management of Microsoft 365 online technologies, including Office 365, Endpoint management and Azure
·Good knowledge of storage and backup solutions, NAS & Veeam
·Active experience of virtualization technologies, e.g. Hyper V
·Knowledge of ERP systems -Movex
·Experience in network management and help desk support.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
·BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
·Experience delivering IT solutions in a production or manufacturing setting
·Proven track record of project management, ERP migration and Infrastructure upgrading.
