Cowell Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be assisting our client to find a talented Commercial Account Executive to join their successful team near Bognor Regis. We are working with a well-established and highly regarded insurance brokerage with a strong national presence and a commitment to delivering expert advice and exceptional service. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Commercial Account Executive in Bognor Regis to drive new business development and build lasting client relationships.
The Role:
As a Commercial Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new commercial insurance business. You will take full ownership of the sales cycle – from researching and mapping out prospects to pitching and closing new business opportunities. With the support of a dynamic team and access to an extensive insurer panel, you will have the tools to deliver tailored insurance solutions to a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively generate leads and develop a pipeline of new commercial clients.
Conduct research to identify target sectors and potential opportunities.
Attend client meetings (in-person and virtual) to understand their needs and present insurance solutions.
Collaborate with internal account handlers and underwriting teams to deliver tailored insurance programmes.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
Represent the company professionally at networking events and industry functions.
About You:
Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or business development.
Strong knowledge of the UK insurance market and commercial lines products.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
A passion for delivering outstanding client service.
Cert CII qualification - preferred not essential
Full UK driving licence required.
