We are a small, fast-growing team based in Upper Heyford, Northamptonshire (off Junction 16 of the M1).
Due to our continued expansion, we are currently recruiting for a full time Warehouse Operative to join us, working 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends).
Duties will include:
* Picking and assembling customer orders from the order profile, Woo Commerce, Ebay, Wholesale and customer specific orders
* Ensuring the correct amount of product is picked and built correctly and safely, into the correct packaging profile and onto pallets in line with warehouse procedures
* Ensuring stock requests are submitted to the Team Leader / counter balance drivers in a timely manner
* Ensuring the picking and packing of correct items to build kits in advance to support the efficient picking of orders
* Loading and unloading deliveries using the counterbalance forklift truck
* Working to tight deadlines, to ensure on time in full every time
* Safely operate warehouse equipment such as hand pallet trucks and packaging machines
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures and support the Team Leader organising the warehouse space effectively
* Some heavy lifting and manual handling activities
* Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operation
* Support the Team Leader with continuous improvement projects and day to day tasks as required
* Assist with training/buddy-up service for all new members of staff
To be considered for this role you must have:
* Knowledge/previous experience of working in a warehouse environment
* Forklift truck licence desirable (counterbalance preferable)
* Good timekeeping skills
* A can-do work ethic and enthusiastic attitude
* The ability to work well as an individual and as part of a team
* The ability to listen and act on instruction
