Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to work in a supportive secondary school setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is eager to inspire a love of literature and language in young people.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Support students of varying abilities to reach their full potential
* Work collaboratively with departmental staff and wider school teams
The Ideal Candidate:
* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in English or a related subject
* Recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
* Strong classroom management skills
* Passionate about teaching and student progress
* Able to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
