Location: UK Wide, Home Based Role
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000

A market-leading manufacturing company seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to join their UK Rail Sector sales team. The company is experiencing record production and has a strong global market presence. This role offers long-term technical challenges and progression opportunities.
The successful candidate will have experience in winning business, managing accounts, and possess strong solution-based selling skills in the Rolling Stock, Light Rail, and Rail Infrastructure markets.
Role Responsibilities:
* Grow business and increase market share in the UK rail sector, targeting end users and distribution channels.
* Develop a methodical approach to identify prospects and build relationships with key stakeholders.
* Secure product specifications and provide solutions to customers.
* Win major UK projects with high revenue potential.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Business development experience in the UK Rail Sector, especially with consumables/components.
* Solution-led B2B sales or business development experience, preferably with a manufacturer.
* Key account management skills.
* Project management experience, managing sales opportunities from pipeline to delivery involving multiple stakeholders.
* Strong networking and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
