You’ll be supporting a pupil with additional needs, helping them feel confident, included, and ready to learn. If you enjoy building strong relationships with pupils and seeing those lightbulb learning moments, this could be a brilliant fit. What your day might look like No two days are the same, but you’ll be there to provide the steady support a child needs to thrive. You’ll be: • Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with specific learning needs • Helping deliver personalised learning strategies in the classroom • Creating a positive, encouraging space where the pupil can feel safe and supported • Working closely with teachers and SEND staff to keep learning on track • Supporting the child’s social and emotional development, not just academics What we’re hoping you’ll bring You don’t need to tick every box, but the following will help you shine in the role: • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Patience, empathy, and a calm approach • A genuine interest in helping children succeed and grow in confidence • Education or SEND-related qualifications are helpful but not essential What you’ll get in return This is a school that values its support staff and the difference they make every day.
