Are you passionate about driving improvement and making a meaningful difference in Adult Social Care? This rewarding role offers the opportunity to champion assurance, quality enhancement and inspection readiness. You will work closely with the Assurance & Business Manager and a dedicated team to ensure services consistently exceed standards, harness evidence‑based approaches and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Gather and analyse data for service improvement, collaborating with Business Insights on compliance monitoring.
* Monitor service performance and produce assurance reports.
* Lead CQC self‑assessment and readiness activities.
Strategic and Operational Leadership
* Support the ASC continuous improvement programme.
* Develop strategic plans and guidance for the directorate.
* Manage the risk register and business continuity plan.
* Shape internal and external communications.
About you
* Experience in an Adult Social Care or Health environment, focused on quality assurance, compliance or improvement activity.
* Strong understanding of CQC requirements and the Care Act 2014 and how they translate into daily practice.
* Confident analysing data and reports, supporting inspections and reviews.
* Use learning from complaints, compliments and performance information to drive improvement.
* Experience with project support, managing change and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
* Evidenced ongoing professional development.
