Overview
We are seeking a skilled CCTV Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer networking, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge, with a particular focus on CCTV installation and maintenance. This role involves designing and implementing surveillance systems, ensuring optimal functionality and security for our clients.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement CCTV systems tailored to client specifications.
* Install, configure, and maintain CCTV equipment and related hardware.
* Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of existing systems to ensure operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools for installation tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
* Read and interpret schematics to facilitate effective system design and installation.
* Provide technical support for CCTV systems, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) as needed.
* Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
* Stay updated on the latest advancements in CCTV technology and industry best practices.
Experience
* Proven experience in computer networking, with a solid understanding of network protocols.
* Strong mechanical knowledge related to the installation of electronic systems.
* Familiarity with computer hardware components relevant to CCTV systems.
* Electrical experience is essential for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
* Demonstrated expertise in CCTV technology, including various camera types and recording solutions.
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Experience in reading schematics for system design purposes is highly desirable.
