Join us at Barclays as a Research Team Assistant where you’ll support a Global Equity Research team delivering actionable insights and innovative products to clients. Your role includes providing administrative support to the Marketing Coordinator and Equity Research Analysts across EMEA, managing logistical requirements such as diary management, travel booking, expenses, visa licenses, and Roadshow events. You will also act as a point of contact for team queries, updating CRM systems and distribution lists.

To succeed as a Research Team Assistant, you should have:

* Proven experience in travel booking (Concur system preferred)
* Previous experience as a Team Assistant
* Experience in a Financial Services Environment
* Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Additional valued skills include:

* Ability to work quickly, accurately, and effectively during increased workload
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
* Effective time management skills
* Research Team Assistant experience

You may be assessed on key skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technological skills relevant to the role.

The position is based in our London Office.

Purpose of the role

To oversee the smooth operation of the bank's activities by handling various administrative tasks.

Accountabilities include:

* Managing project closeouts and outstanding issues
* Supporting payroll processes, verifying wage sheets, and distributing pay slips
* Supporting implementation of talent development strategies, policies, and procedures
* Maintaining accurate records, financial documents, and reports
* Managing office supplies and equipment

* Providing specialist advice and support to stakeholders
* Performing activities timely and to high standards
* Leading and supervising teams when applicable, fostering development and resource coordination
* Demonstrating leadership behaviors (Listen, Energize, Align, Develop)
* Managing own workload and participating in broader projects
