Job Title – Façade Manager
Project – Bespoke Commercial Envelopes
Job Location – West Yorkshire (Weekly Travel)
Salary – £50K - £60K b.o.e
About the Company
Industry leading Main Contractor who specialises in unique projects across UK Tier 1 Cities.
The Façade Manager will be responsible for running packages valued p to £10M.
This façade manager will have experience delivering Facade/Envelope packages for bespoke buildings/ design and build projects.
The Role
Ensure that project design solutions are delivered to the highest standards and meet client standards
Provide Technical support to the Project Team and host weekly meetings to update on progress
Manage the successful installation and delivery of the whole building envelope
Co-ordination of the supply chain procurement process
Assist with build ability issues and value engineering related to the external envelope.
Manage meetings with the design team and specialist contractors
Oversee the relevant Site Managers driving the on-site delivery
Maintain a continuous focus on Health & Safety and Quality Assurance
Deliver projects on time and within budget
Requirements
A Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or relevant Trades Qualification
Strong Engineering / Trades / Building Background
Demonstrable record of successfully delivering Commercial Façade Envelopes valued £3M+
Experience of planning and monitoring technical project programmes to budgets and resources ensuring delivery to time and cost constraints
Experience with Rainscreen, Cladding, Curtain walling, Facades and Roofing systems
IT and standard industry software skills
Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and clients
Experience of managing and developing a team
