Responsibilities
You will build on your existing skill set, practicing in a nurse‑led environment, developing complex decision‑making and collaborative skills. You will make a difference to our residents at a time in their life when they may feel the most vulnerable, guiding and supporting them in life‑changing decisions.
You will act as a registered nurse with at least 12 months experience in health or social care, hold a valid PIN, and uphold the standards set by the NMC. You will mentor and share knowledge with your colleagues, provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students, and demonstrate effective communication both verbally and in writing.
You will advocate and deliver a person‑centred approach to care for residents and their families. You will recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, report concerns appropriately, and participate in safeguarding training.
Qualifications
• Minimum 12 months experience in health or social care
• Valid NMC PIN
• Understanding of NMC standards and ethical practice
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development
