ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Project Planning and Scheduling: o Develop comprehensive project plans for each project, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation. o Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks and milestones are identified and tracked and targets are achieved. o Carry out and complete on-site surveys to ensure clients expectations both in terms of specification, timescales and costs are achievable prior to project commencement. o Support the operations team in carrying out ‘pre-condition’ surveys of client sites as and when required or requested. • Budget Management: o Estimate project costs at pre-contract stage using project forecast system. o Commercial targets to be shared and agreed with Head of Mech Dept prior to project start. o Continued monitoring of project costs during the project lifecycle (including labour, plant, materials, and sub-contractors) and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints through to handover. o With the support of the Head of Mech Dept, completion of Mech Valuations monthly including consolidation and reporting of approved and unapproved variations. • Team Coordination: o Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers, subcontractors, and apprentices. o Delegate tasks and provide clear direction to team members. o Ensure team members have the correct skills and experience to complete tasks. o Ensure the ...
