My client, a leading regional legal practice, is looking to recruit a Senior Associate (ideally 5-10 years PQE) to join their growing Development team, focusing on Strategic Land Development. The firm generates significant opportunities from regional and national landowners/property developers. To enable growth, they require an experienced solicitor with a strong background in Strategic Land Development (Option and/or Promotion agreements) and an established reputation in this field, who will bring connections with agencies.
This is a great opportunity to grow a practice/business in Strategic Land Development in any UK location.
Job responsibilities:
* Managing own caseload and meeting deadlines;
* Assisting Partners on complex, high-value matters;
* Maintaining good client relationships through effective management and service delivery;
* Properly scoping and pricing new instructions, with good financial management;
* Providing clients with accurate, up-to-date legal advice tailored to their circumstances, ensuring value for money;
* Contributing to the development of the team business plan and delivering assigned activities;
* Building relationships with peers across the firm;
* Supporting business development and marketing efforts, including attending conferences;
* Managing direct reports as the team grows.
Person Specification:
* Proven technical experience in Strategic Land Development;
* Adaptable, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work under pressure both individually and in a team;
* Collaborative with colleagues across the firm;
* Client-focused, delivering valued service outcomes in a timely and cost-effective manner;
* Effective communicator at all levels;
* Strong commercial acumen and ambition to grow with the firm.
