Prime Objectives of the Post
· To deliver sessions to all key stage 3 pupils looking at Personal and Social development of all pupils.
· To write innovative and creative lessons
· To ensure all young people are involved in healthy activities within the school
· To work alongside a team to deliver Key Stage 3 education and behaviour
· To monitor and review the progress and attainment of Pupils.
· To assist in the development of PRISM Independent School
SUPERVISORY/MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

SUPERVISION AND GUIDANCE
· Responsible to senior management team
· Personal initiative and self organising abilities expected to be exercised by post holder.
· To attend and prepare for managerial supervision sessions
· To participate in staff meetings
· Take part in OTLA procedure and feedback
· To participate in staff training
RESPONSIBILITY FOR ASSETS, MATERIALS ETC
· Confidential files held in relation to students and providers
· Consumable office items
· Specialist equipment
· Personal protective equipment
· CPD file
· Site maintenance and upkeep, including displays, classrooms and kitchens
MAIN DUTIES
· Liaise with tutors on specific learning needs
· Develop and review behaviour plans, including individual risk assessments
· Develop ideas for enrichment activities
· Support the writing and delivery themed lessons for each half term
· Work to set time scales
· Ensure work delivered is current, relevant and of a high quality
· To work with students and be responsible for their supervision and guidance.
· Ensure risk assessments are completed for all activities
· Update and write reports for management, referring agencies and parents
· Report and log incidents
· To support students to develop their self esteem, motivation and life skills
· To enable students to organise and take co-responsibility for activities, events and projects.
· Attend training as required – this may involve weekend and residential training
· Attend parents evening (3 per year)
· To work alongside other in-house projects to ensure learners receive a seamless service.
· To be an advocate for PRISM both within and outside the organisation.
· To ensure the implementation of PRISM Independent School’s Policies.
· To carry out such tasks and duties from time to time as required by the Executive Head Teacher of PRISM Independent School
· To deliver and wide range of activities to compliment Curriculum.
· To ensure all young people are appropriately stretched and challenged
