We’re looking for a forward-thinking Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on a range of innovative projects across industrial and commercial sectors.
This role would suit someone with a modern approach to mechanical design, ideally with strong exposure to the latest CAD technologies, automation-focused design principles, and contemporary manufacturing methods.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings using modern CAD software
* Develop innovative engineering solutions from concept through to manufacture
* Work closely with electrical, manufacturing, and project teams
* Support product improvement and continuous innovation initiatives
* Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards and project specifications
* Participate in design reviews and problem-solving activities
Requirements
* Previous experience within a mechanical design engineering role
* Strong CAD capability (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD or similar)
* Understanding of modern manufacturing and fabrication techniques
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
* Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
* HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar preferred
