We are seeking to recruit Clinical Imaging Support Workers (CISW), with a passion for working to the highest standard, to join our dedicated team in Radiology. Radiology at Scarborough Hospital is a forward thinking Department, committed to staff development and the provision of an effective and efficient patient centred Imaging Service. Clinical Imaging Support Workers are key members of the multidisciplinary team involved in the Radiology Service provision. Working within Radiology will provide a new challenge, and will be ever-changing and rewarding. We are looking for someone who lives our values, to help us make a difference to the thousands of patients who use our service every year. You must have great communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. You must be motivated, passionate and proactive with the ability to work as part of a team.


Responsibilities

* Support Radiologists and Radiographers with the provision of Imaging Services at Scarborough Hospital and the Scarborough Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC).
* Assist the Radiographic Staff in the day to day service provision.
* Undertake pre-examination patient assessments and CT/MRI safety checks.
* Assist with equipment and patient positioning and IV cannulation.
* Work a variety of shifts including 12 hour days, evenings and weekends on a rotational basis within 08:00-20:00, 7 days per week.


Qualifications and Experience

* Previous experience of working in a healthcare environment is desirable.
* You must have great communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
* Motivated, passionate and proactive with the ability to work as part of a team.
