SEN Teaching Assistant (Psychology Graduates Required)
Wantage – Primary and Secondary SEMH School, an outstanding co‑educational Special School in Wantage, is recruiting full‑time Specialist TA’s.
Responsibilities:
* Support children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, communication difficulties and complex learning needs.
* Work in partnership with external professionals such as educational and occupational psychologists, counsellors, and speech and language therapists.
* Assist with the breadth of the curriculum, extra‑curricular activities and therapies, following a personalised approach to each childs needs.
* Shadow professionals to observe and gain experience of therapeutic and educational support practices.
Qualifications:
* Recent Psychology graduate or relevant background.
* Understanding of autism, ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, and communication needs.
* Passionate, resilient, and enthusiastic about supporting children with SEMH challenges.
Work Details:
* Full‑time Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
* Start date: ASAP.
* Pay: £85‑£105 per day.
