Salary: £26,002 Pro rata (0.87 FTE)
The Role:
To plan, prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Head Chef Manager
* To assist in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends, and to be passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts in the location.
* To assist with stock taking when required.
* To carry out the smooth and efficient running of service time.
* To carry out preparation and cooking of desserts.
* To prepare breakfast, lunch, deli and packed meal offerings as required.
Key information:
Full Time Contract
5 days Mon - Fri
No Split Shifts
Enhanced DBS (or application for one)
Occasional internal and external events
Skills required:
NVQ level 2/3, 706 1&2 or foreign equivalent
Intermediate Food / Hygiene Certificate
Enthusiasm and skill set
Relative experience of cooking in a social care setting
