Job Description
PQA, a leading provider of weekend performing arts training, is currently recruiting a freelance Poppets (early years) teacher for their academy in Leeds East on a Saturday - 9.30-11.45 am for 41 weeks of the year.
You will need practical skills in acting, singing and movement and be able to deliver exciting and engaging classes and projects for our youngest students. Poppets is high-energy, educational and fun!
PQA follows safer recruitment practices. An enhanced DBS on the update service will be required and can be arranged.
Job Requirements
Highly skilled and experienced in performing arts education and/or industry.
A genuine interest in and passion for high-quality early years teaching.
A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing.
Job Responsibilities
Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging and age-appropriate performing arts activities for 4 to 6 year olds.
Creating and rehearsing material for showcases.
A willingness to work as part of a small, energetic team and to contribute to the wider life of the academy.
