Role Description
This is a part-time position for a Computer Science Teacher, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid format. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students, following the British National Curriculum. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, teaching live virtual classes, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. Teachers are also expected to collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Computer Science and Mathematics
* Experience in Computer Science Education and Lesson Planning
* Skills in Curriculum Development and familiarity with the British National Curriculum
* Effective communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students
* Proficiency with digital teaching tools and the ability to deliver lessons online
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Education, or a related field
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) is preferred
* Previous experience teaching GCSE and A-Level students is highly desirable
