Responsibilities: The Production Assembler supports the team and our retail customer for their Point-of-Sale refresh project by performing the following tasks:
* Producing components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies
* Reading and confirming the parts lists
* Mounting scanner brackets and payment terminal brackets to touch screen monitors
* Cable threading pole mount stands
* Attaching pole mount stands to touch screen monitors
* Scan and move materials physically and systematically
* Pick, pack and ship orders
* Use of Material Handling equipment
* Loading and unloading trucks
* Other related work as assigned by supervisor or Manager
Pay: $21.00/hour. Overtime hours may be offered periodically (optional).
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
* Mechanical skillset – dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate and assemble parts and components that are often small
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Experience interacting with cross functional teams including Manufacturing, Integration, Project Management, Inventory, Quality, Material Handling, and Logistics.
* Finds technology and innovation intriguing and likes to have fun while approaching work with passion and enthusiasm.
* Team player with the ability to work with others
* Strong ability to work independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
* Ability to effectively complete tasks
* Keeping the workspaces clean
* Commit to Safety - proactive within compliance of OSHA and NIOSH laws affecting associates.
