Job Title: Natural Capital Analyst Location: Hybrid – need to attend the Newport office for meetings as and when required Job Description We are hiring a Natural Capital Analyst to support the development of renewable and non-renewable resource depletion estimates for the UK’s Natural Capital Accounts. The role involves research, data assessment, and methodological design to support future productionisation aligned with SNA25. Key Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate data sources to estimate physical stocks of natural resources (e.g., timber). Develop methodologies for estimating resource stocks, regeneration rates, harvesting rates, and depletion. Collaborate with internal and external organisations to establish required data inputs. Support modelling of renewable and non-renewable resource flows over defined time periods. Contribute to developing long-term approaches for integration into annual Natural Capital Accounts.
