Panoramic Associates are supporting a care home in the South West with a substantive Clinical Manager position. Role: Clinical Manager Salary: £49787 - £55k per annum Onsite : Onsite 5 days per week Location: South West Role: Act as a clinical mentor to internal nursing and care staff. Provide advisory input to external community services including domiciliary care, district nursing, primary care, and therapy teams. Represent the home in ICS forums and safeguarding partnerships Involve residents and families in care planning and service evaluation. Lead the nursing and care team, working with the Home Director. Ensure compliance with NMC Code, CQC standards Provide structured mentorship and supervision for Registered Nurses, care staff, students, and newly qualified nurses. Monitor key quality metrics (e.g. falls, pressure ulcers, infection rates) and implement improvement plans. Requirements: Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. Willingness to work towards Level 5 Management & Leadership (QCF) within 1 year Minimum of 2 years' managerial experience in a health or social care setting. Experience supervising, mentoring, and leading clinical staff. Strong understanding of safeguarding, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance (CQC, commissioners). Up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory, older people's care, and evidence-based practice. Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for individuals.
