Offer description

The post holder has line management responsibilities for the Business Support Team within MMPS. They will support the Business Support Manager and Business Manager in leading the team, prioritising workloads and ensuring continuous improvement systems and processes within the Business Support Unit. The post holder works closely with the Business Support Manager and Business Manager to ensure efficient delivery of an administrative service to MMPS.


Main duties of the job

The post-holder will also take on the role of Staff Engagement Lead for the CSU. This important role is responsible for designing and delivering a Trust-wide approach to employee engagement, insight, and improvement that reaches all staff groups. The Staff Engagement Lead will work alongside Operational Leads to implement sustained improvements based on the MMPS Staff Survey results.


Key attributes and experience

* Strong leadership skills
* Ability to facilitate regular Business Support team meetings to maintain effective communication.
* Responsible for managing sickness, attendance, conduct, performance and any disciplinary issues and taking these to hearings within Trust Policies.
* Produce data/activity and statistical reports to a high standard as required by the manager.
* Brief staff on changes to Trust systems, policy and processes as and when required.
