We have an exciting new opportunity for a RTPI and/or RICS qualified Planner to join a planning team based in our Newcastle office. The team's reach is particularly diverse acting on a wide range of housing, mixed-use, leisure, urban regeneration, commercial and economic development projects across the North East region for national and regional developers, landowners, investors and major corporates.

Team Overview
The team is based in Newcastle and consists of 8 planners. It is a market-leading commercially focussed planning team that is an integral part of the biggest planning consultancy in the UK with over 300 planning specialists covering every land use sector and geographical area in the UK. Savills planning division has secured the number one position in Planning magazine's Annual Consultancy Survey as the largest planning consultancy in the UK, for the 8th consecutive year.
Examples of current projects include the promotion of land in South Tyneside for 1,200 homes; major new tourism and leisure proposals for a high profile site in Newcastle; a new Garden Village community in Darlington; and major new student accommodation in Durham City.
The team works cross-divisionally with other key Savills teams including development, management, investment, industrial, rural and building and project consultancy.
