Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
3. Manage day‑to‑day tasks relating to client and matter inception processes.
4. Conduct client due diligence checks, determining appropriate levels required under AML regulations.
5. Perform conflict searches and resolve or escalate identified conflict issues.
6. Use internal and external databases to research and verify information for due diligence.
7. Assess risk levels for new and existing clients/matters and escalate concerns when needed.
8. Advise partners and fee earners on AML, inception, and conflict queries while supporting wider team tasks and projects.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate would have:
9. Experience in conducting CDD and/or conflicts analysis, ideally within an international law firm.
10. Good understanding of SRA regulations.
11. Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to research and present information clearly.
12. Capable of analysing data and forming well‑reasoned conclusions.
13. Effective at managing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
14. Able to prioritise, multitask, and take ownership in a fast‑paced environment.
15. Collaborative team player with a willingness to support colleagues when needed.
