Responsibilities
* supporting the development and delivery of research proposals in accordance with the Centre’s social justice methodology
* managing ethical review processes
* developing and applying creative approaches
* qualitative/quantitative data collection and analysis
* co‑ordinating multi-sectoral research teams
* contributing to publications
* supporting dissemination and wider stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
* Practical experience of delivering research projects as part of a team
* Experience of different research methods relevant to social justice-related projects (e.g. qualitative, participatory, creative or quantitative research methods)
* Experience of developing ethics plans and obtaining ethics approval
* Data collection/analysis
* Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment and coordinating work across research partnerships
* An evidenced understanding of and commitment to social justice, including equity, diverse experiences and inclusivity
You should have an Honours degree or equivalent experience in a field relevant to social justice research such as law, social sciences, criminology, politics, geography, journalism or history; PhD (awarded or submitted).
This 0.8fte fixed term post is available for a two-year period until 30 September 2028 (with potential to extend).
If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
