Senior Procurement Consultant – Security Cleared
Join Turner's growing Contract Services team in the UK. The role involves delivering strategic procurement and contract advice on large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects.
Main Expectations
* Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
* Manage and collaborate with a team on end‑to‑end procurement services for major projects or programmes.
* Support clients in post‑contract contract management of major projects.
* Support the development of procurement services within T&T.
* Assist in business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition.
* Help deliver team and wider business targets.
* Support bid preparation and proposal documentation to strengthen the team’s winning capability.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in a strategic procurement environment.
* Background in tender preparation and development of key documents.
* Experience leading or supporting supplier engagement activities, from market engagement to contract award.
* Cross‑sector experience (Utilities, Defence, Security/Public Contracts) with the ability to devise procurement strategies.
* Experience with NEC4, standard model contracts, alliances/partnership arrangements.
* Post‑contract contract management knowledge, especially under NEC4.
* Working toward or holding MCIPs accreditation.
* Preferably held a degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.
* Preferably experienced within the Defence and/or Infrastructure sectors.
* Security clearance (SC) – current or able to be reinstated.
* Strong supply‑chain intelligence and commercial modelling skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Adaptable, independent, and self‑managed.
* Capable of collaborating and leading a team to achieve desired outcomes.
