About the Role
SIPS Education Limited is looking to appoint a Governance Professional to provide a Clerking Service to schools across the West Midlands. Working within the existing team, the successful candidate will be highly organised, flexible, skilled in producing minutes, an excellent communicator with strong ICT skills and committed to staying up to date with school governance developments.
Responsibilities
* Clerk around 85 meetings per year, predominantly at the end of the school day.
* Meetings will be a mix of face‑to‑face and virtual.
* Produce accurate minutes and administrative documents.
* Support schools with governance developments.
Qualifications
* Highly organised and flexible.
* Strong communication skills.
* Proficient ICT skills.
* Knowledge of issues affecting School Governance is an advantage.
Benefits and Compensation
* Full training and development including opportunities for progression.
* Hours: 25 hours per week, term time.
* Grade: Grade 5 18‑23 (£27,226 - £32,080 pro‑rata per annum). Hourly Rate £14.11 - £16.63.
