Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Optometrist to join a thriving optical practice in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a modern, fully refurbished environment alongside a highly experienced and supportive team. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering excellent flexibility, no late nights, and alternate weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using the latest clinical technology
* Deliver high-quality patient care with a personalised and professional approach
* Confidently test at 25‑minute sight test intervals
* Identify and manage ocular conditions, making appropriate referrals when required
* Participate in specialist services such as cataract referral pathways, glaucoma retention, and private enhanced services
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records
* Ensure compliance with all GOC and clinical governance standards
Team Development:
* Work collaboratively with a well‑established team of optical professionals
* Opportunity to support and mentor pre‑registration optometrists
* Option to work across a nearby sister practice equipped with equally modern facilities

About You:
* GOC registered Optometrist
* Confident, clinically focused, and patient‑centred
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Keen to develop clinical interests and participate in specialist clinics
* Flexible to work alternate weekends
