Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Hybrid – Idaho (commutable or open to relocation)
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
The Company
We are recruiting on behalf of a SaaS company operating within the electrical and construction sectors, focused on safety management and injury prevention. The platform helps businesses reduce risk by digitising safety processes, improving compliance, and supporting safer working practices across job sites and field-based teams. The company is in a growth phase and scaling its operations across the U.S.
The Role
This is a hands-on CFO role suited to someone from a startup or scale-up background who enjoys being close to the numbers and supporting a growing leadership team. Reporting into the COO, you will take ownership of the finance function while helping shape the company’s commercial and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
* Build and maintain financial models to support growth and decision-making
* Partner closely with the COO on commercial and operational performance
* Oversee accounting, controls, and financial compliance
* Produce clear reporting for leadership and stakeholders
* Support scaling processes as the business grows
Experience & Profile
* Previous CFO or senior finance leadership experience within SaaS, technology, or construction-adjacent businesses
* Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
* Comfortable working in lean, fast-paced environments
* Practical, adaptable, and willing to wear multiple hats
* Strong communicator with commercial awareness
Location & Package
* Hybrid role based in Idaho (commutable or open to relocation)
* Base salary: $220,000 – $275,000
* Bonus: Performance-based
* PTO: 3 weeks + US public holidays
