Interim FP&A Analyst - Truro, Cornwall
Day Rate: £300-£400 (Depending on experience)Contract: 6 months - potentially longer.Start Date: ASAPWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
Hays are seeking an experienced and analytical Interim FP&A Analyst to join a growing organisation in Truro. This is a key role created due to recent business expansion, offering the opportunity to make a real impact by improving financial processes and enhancing data-driven decision-making.You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing our business intelligence capabilities, with a strong focus on financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive finance professional with a passion for data and process improvement.Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and enhance the business intelligence database by consolidating data from multiple sources.
* Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability across financial systems.
* Conduct statistical analysis and interpret key performance metrics to generate actionable insights.
* Translate complex data into clear, meaningful recommendations for stakeholders.
* Design and deliver compelling reports, dashboards, and visual presentations using Excel and Power BI.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial analysis.
* Continuously seek opportunities to improve data processes and analysis techniques.
* Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in FP&A or a similar financial analysis role.
* Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI (ideally but not essential).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
* Available to start immediately and commit to a minimum 6-month.
* Comfortable working 3 days per week on-site in Truro.
