Year 4 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly primary school in the Plymstock area. This long-term position is available until July and involves full teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation, and marking. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing a classroom and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Teach a Year 4 class full-time, Monday to Friday.
* Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment.
* Establish and maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment.
* Work closely with school staff and senior leaders to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong behaviour management skills.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.
* Ability to commit to a full-time schedule until July.
* Confident classroom presence with high expectations for both behaviour and learning.
