Summer Placement - Construction Management Manager. Location: Cambridge – with flexibility to travel across the region. Starting date: July 2026. Pathway: 8 Weeks – 40hrs per week. Starting salary: £26,208 per annum. We are Kier Group, a leading UK national contractor delivering projects of all sizes and complexities in the public and private sectors.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Summer Placement Construction Management, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction projects, on time and to the required quality. This placement offers hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced professionals, and a strong foundation in construction management.
What will your day-to-day duties include?
* Assisting in the planning, execution, and management of projects.
* Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to support project objectives.
* Conducting research and analysis to inform project decisions and strategies.
* Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation related to project activities.

The programme will take 8 weeks to complete and is designed to immerse you in the world of construction, giving you practical experiences to support your degree.
What are we looking for?
* Students undertaking a degree in Construction Management or a related field, who can join us on an 8-week placement across July - August. You must be returning to university upon completion of your placement.
