Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Secondary School based in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to start in September. This is an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school which strives to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all its pupils.

About the role:
* Start-date: 1st September
* Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for a permanent contract
* Opportunity to earn £90- £110 per day (dependent on experience)
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional academic/behavioural support within the schools SEN department. You will work closely with other Teachers/support staff to create and implement individualised learning plans. This may include 1-1 or small group intervention for core subjects and general behaviour support. You will also monitor and assess pupil progress both formally and informally.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with young people is necessary (educational setting preferred)
* Experience working with SEN or behavioural management is preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young people and their education
